Self Defence  Training for girls -    X  -  XI
Self Defence  Training for  school girls  of classes  X & XI is being given by Delhi Traffic Police for 10 days in the school premisis.
Girls are excited and enthusiastic about the training and its results. It is going to inbuilt confidence in them to be able to deal with any situation in the near future.
It starts at 8 in the morning and goes on trill 9.30.AM.

On 19^th Februrary 2015 on the invitation of Delhi Traffic Police at Teen Murti Bhawan,New Delhi,

Ms. Sunita Saini and Ms. Seema Lal gave a presentation on the activities of the Road Safety Club of our school to convince and aware the Newly  Enrolled Road safety Clubs  about how various activities organized  by our school club has sensitized  children and has made them aware about the importance of following Traffic rules and Road safety norms. The occasion was graced by the Vice Chancellor of JNU, Prof.S.K.Sopory and Assisstant Commissnor of Traffic Police,New Delhi along with many dignitaries .

The ppt was highly appreciated and applauded.

ter-school speech competition on 20^th December. 13 prestigious schools of Delhi participated  including our school in the event which was sponsered by Delhi Traffic Police and Hero Moto Corp. Ltd. Chief guest of the occasion was DCP West-Shri R.K Pandey , ACP Road safety-Shri Rishi Rana & ACP West-Shri B.R.Mann.

The distinguished Jury who had tuff time deciding the winners were –Deputy Director SIAM-Ms. Meenakshi  & Script writer from DTP-Ms. Rekha Sigi..

The competition was for three groups-Primary, Secondary & senior.

Road Safety Exhibition at Traffic Pavilion, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Students from our school took part in the Road Safety Exhibition at Traffic Pavilion, Pragati Maidan, and New Delhi. This is organized every year to inculcate the Road Safety awareness amongst the children and people, who visit the India International Trade Fair. Students from Kulachi Hansraj Model School  enthusiastically visited Trade Fair lawns the along with the two teacher Coordinators Mrs Seema Lal and Mrs Sunita Saini.Students were amazed  when they came to know about the integral role of traffic police in maintaining rule and order over the roads and streets of India .

On the Spot Painting Competition-Roshanara Traffic Park- 20th July 2013

      Our member students went for ‘On the Spot Painting competition organized  at Roshanara Traffic Training Park on 20th July 2013 and bagged 1st  , 2nd  & 3rd prizes .

      Delhi  Traffic Police invited students as they had renovated the Traffic Park and inaugurated it on 20th July 2013.

      Chief guest of honour was the DCP- Mr. Bassi

       Our students were accompanied by  teacher Ms. Kiran Jharna.

On the invitation of Delhi Traffic Police

17 students from theInteract Club of our school went to the India Expo Centre,Greater Noida to attend the 8th Regional Conference on Road Infrastructure Safe Mobility on 5th October 2013. The students interacted with different dignitaries including  officers from Delhi Traffic Police. Different international companies were also there to sell their

products which could help in managing the traffic and would also focus on Road Safety. The Delhi Traffic Police in collaboration with Honda also gave the students a virtual Safe Driving experience with the help of Virtual Two Wheeler Simulator and later on their driving was also assesed. There was also a Portable Exhibition Van which displayed various interesting facts and pictures related to Road Safety. Students also gathered information about different new innovations in Road Safety techniques put forward by leading National And International companies such as Larsen&Turbo(L&T), Intercomp etc. There were also some Government officials who explained the role of our government in the matters of roads and connectivity. Overall it was an overwhelming experience for all and it was quite useful and informative.
Students came to know about the roadsafety material/ euipment that is there all over the world. it was an exhibition of Road safety Infrastructure for safe mobilty on the Roads . It was an unusal experience both entertaining and informative. 

Training of the Drivers

Dehli Traffic Police organised Training of the Drivers on 10th August 2013 which is there regular feature under the project of creating Road safety awareness.
Four Drivers from our school went to Sarai Kalakhan for the same.

Road Safety Awareness Talk -30th August 2013

Kulachi Hansraj organised a Road Safety Awareness Talk on -30th August 2013 . The Talk was delivered by Inspector Seema ,Traffic Police Delhi.It was induction cum awareness program which began with the lighting of lamp of knowledge and a very inspiring and motivating talk by the Inspector Seema. Cabinet of the current session was introduced and was decorated with the badges .

Madame Principal and Madam Kumar graced the occasion and sensitised the students.

Members were shown a documentry film - 'Ladla Driver' on Road safety and later asked question related to it.

The Traffic Police also brought their Traffic Mobile Van and also distributed related literature to the children.

A general discussion was also held where students asked questions and Inspector Seema answered their queries.She also encouraged the students  specially girls to undertake defence training which they will be conducting and also invited our school for various upcoming programs which Delhi Traffic Police will undertake.

Workshop for Road Safety school Club Members. -6th August 2013

A workshop was organised by Delhi Traffic Police and SIAM Motors for the Road Safety school club members on 6th August at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road.
It was conducted by Inspector Seema, Road Safety Cell, Delhi Traffic Police & Ms. Meenakshi Kukreja, Deputy Director, SIAM.

The workshop was presided  over by Mr. Anil Skukla-Additional Commisioner of Police-Traffic & The Executive Director, SIAM , Mr. K.K Gandhi , & Mr. Rishi Pal.
From our school it was attended by the club Incharges: Ms. Seema Lal & Ms, Sunita Saini.



Various reputed schools of Delhi were invited who run Road safety clubs, & 6 schools were asked to

give presentations on the work one by their clubs to create awareness on Road safety.
Our school was also amongst the selected schools to make presentation , that was highly appreciated and applauded .At the end of the workshop we were given Mementos -Appreciation Award for the same.

Visit to Traffic Training Park -1& 2nd May 2013

On May 1st & 2nd students of class X visited Traffic Training Park at Punjabi Bagh under the project awareness on Road safety. Students were escorted by a teacher and there they were shown a Film and were told about the traffic rules, importance of wearing helmet and how to ride two wheelers. Students got lot of information and material regarding Road safety.It was an interactive session . Students were also asked questions on the information received and were given prizes for right answers.. A group photo.

Road safety clubs Meet- 30th April 2013

On 30th April there was a meeting of Road Safety school clubs organised by the Delhi Traffic Police at Bharti Vidyapeeth, a-4 Paschim vihar. It has its supporting partners - Hero & SIAM . The occasion was graced by eminent personalities - Mr. A.K.Singh -DCP Traffic Police,Mr. B.R.Mann-ACP Road safety,Mr. Anil shukla, Assistant Commissioner of Traffic Police, Mr. Prashant Sharma DGM Hero Motors & Ms. Seema Sharma Traffic Inspector +Ms. Meenakshi Kukreja-Director -SIAM. All schools were given a yearly charter - an list of activities to be conducted through out the year. Some pictures of the event. Painting competition and Prizes

On 22nd December our school students went for a painting competition at India Gate lawns organised by the Delhi Traffic Police Department. It was also an award giving function -to the sudents who participated in the painting competition which was organised on 14th November at Trade Fair lawns . our students received prizes. The occasion was graced by none other than a famous crickter Gautam Gambhir and Delhi Traffic Police Commissioner and the Assistant Traffic Police Commissioner. Our students made beautiful paintings and won prizes. Students from both our wings were there and received prizes. Their paintins were showcased on the display boards at the lawns. some pics........
