Workshop for Road Safety school Club Members. -6th August 2013

A workshop was organised by Delhi Traffic Police and SIAM Motors for the Road Safety school club members on 6th August at India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road.
It was conducted by Inspector Seema, Road Safety Cell, Delhi Traffic Police & Ms. Meenakshi Kukreja, Deputy Director, SIAM.

The workshop was presided  over by Mr. Anil Skukla-Additional Commisioner of Police-Traffic & The Executive Director, SIAM , Mr. K.K Gandhi , & Mr. Rishi Pal.
From our school it was attended by the club Incharges: Ms. Seema Lal & Ms, Sunita Saini.



Various reputed schools of Delhi were invited who run Road safety clubs, & 6 schools were asked to
give presentations on the work one by their clubs to create awareness on Road safety.
Our school was also amongst the selected schools to make presentation , that was highly appreciated and applauded .At the end of the workshop we were given Mementos -Appreciation Award for the same.

Visit to Traffic Training Park -1& 2nd May 2013


On May 1st & 2nd students of class X visited Traffic Training Park at Punjabi Bagh under the project awareness on Road safety. Students were escorted by a teacher and there they were shown a Film and were told about the traffic rules, importance of wearing helmet and how to ride two wheelers. Students got lot of information and material regarding Road safety.It was an interactive session . Students were also asked questions on the information received and were given prizes for right answers.. A group photo.

Road safety clubs Meet- 30th April 2013


On 30th April there was a meeting of Road Safety school clubs organised by the Delhi Traffic Police at Bharti Vidyapeeth, a-4 Paschim vihar. It has its supporting partners - Hero & SIAM . The occasion was graced by eminent personalities - Mr. A.K.Singh -DCP Traffic Police,Mr. B.R.Mann-ACP Road safety,Mr. Anil shukla, Assistant Commissioner of Traffic Police, Mr. Prashant Sharma DGM Hero Motors & Ms. Seema Sharma Traffic Inspector +Ms. Meenakshi Kukreja-Director -SIAM. All schools were given a yearly charter - an list of activities to be conducted through out the year. Some pictures of the event. Painting competition and Prizes


On 22nd December our school students went for a painting competition at India Gate lawns organised by the Delhi Traffic Police Department. It was also an award giving function -to the sudents who participated in the painting competition which was organised on 14th November at Trade Fair lawns . our students received prizes. The occasion was graced by none other than a famous crickter Gautam Gambhir and Delhi Traffic Police Commissioner and the Assistant Traffic Police Commissioner. Our students made beautiful paintings and won prizes. Students from both our wings were there and received prizes. Their paintins were showcased on the display boards at the lawns. some pics........

Appreciation Award - Film making


Our school was highly appreciated and Film shot by our school students was selected . we received a Trophy in a ceremony organised by Cine art and PVR nest on 21 st December 2012.. Glimpse of the trophy.

Students from Primary & Senior wing along with other students of different schools were given training on Film making in a work shop conducted by cine nest PVR. students were taken out of school on busy roads and there they shot film. It was coordinated by our computer teacher Ms. Neeta Arora. glimpse.

 Awarness amongest Parents-29th Dec 2012
29th December 2012 Parents Teachers Meeting of our school. On this day the Club members along with the support of Delhi Traffic Police, campaigned to create awareness about traffic among the public. The motto of this campaign was to guide children as well as the adult population to follow the Traffic Rules.
The members convinced parents to not to allow their children to drive any vehicle without driving licence and till they are 18 yrs. old. The Traffic police (people)guided them about rules and other safety measures that must be kept in mind whileon the roads.
Parents were provided with some literature which gave detailed information about the traffic rules and symbols.
